About as blah as a Chinese restaurant can be. High priced, unfriendly service, below average food, and sticky tables. They have a tip line on the credit card receipt but, aside from handing me the food, the clerk did nothing to earn a tip. They charge for drink refills as well.

Unassuming Chinese Food restaurant next to The Outback Steakhouse. I met a local that recommended this restaurant so we decided to give it a try. We ordered the egg drop, hot sour soup, fried rice and crispy sesame beef. The egg drop soup was tasty and the hot soup tasted like it was seasoned with pepper for the hot flavor; not real authentic . The pork in the fried rice was very dry and skimpy and looked almost black in color. A little too much soy sauce I think. The chicken fried rice had huge chucks of chicken and had a better flavor. The crispy sesame beef had this red sauce that was tasty and the beef wad generous. Overall this place was ok.

I am real chimes guy, and the food they cooked make me feel like home. Btw they also have some really special foods for American taste. Take your time to try once, and never forget anymore

Under new management..... My family always loved the lunch deals even though the counter lady was almost always less than friendly. Under new management gave us concern but hoped that the food would not change (how it is prepared, the sauces, the amounts, etc). Much to our disappointment it is different ...higher price ... different preparation ... not as much food. We are sad to see the old owners/managers go and now must search for a new Chinese restaurant (yes we are very picky about our Chinese ... we like it crisp, fresh, and a certain way). I would give it 2 out of 5 stars... it is just okay in our opinion (I am sure others will like it so you may want to give them a try, I have tasted and experienced much worse).

BEST EVER! I've tried so many Chinese restaurants so far, this one is definitely the best I've ever had, and they deliver as well, which is very convenient, and the owner there is friendly too. Highly Recommend!

Umm, NOT "as blah as a Chinese restaurant can be." This is only place we'll order Chinese from in St. Charles. We've ordered a lot of different things and it's always really flavorful and fresh. We usually get the spicy shrimp fried rice, beef broccoli, crab rangoon and it's a 5 star every time. Delivery is always very fast.

This was a complete disappointment. I'm not expecting authentic Chinese or anything, just some decent Americanized food. I ordered the kun pao dinner special. This was the first time I've ever had fried rice that was bad. And I mean bad, it tasted horrible. I don't know if it was rice not being fresh or other ingredients being off but it was nasty. The eggroll was obviously from a frozen bag, not just because of quality but because it was still half frozen. And my kung pao chicken? Barely any chicken in the dish. I wound up tossing most of the dish and going to get a burger.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.
